Chairman Emeritus; Chairman and CEO, Hills & Company

Carla A. Hills is chairman and CEO of Hills & Company, which advises companies on global trade and investment issues, and also serves as senior counselor at the Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategic advisory and commercial diplomacy firm. Previously she was chairman and CEO of Hills & Company, which advised companies on global trade and investment issues. Hills served as U.S. trade representative in the George H.W. Bush administration and as secretary of housing and urban development in the Gerald R. Ford administration. Previously, she was assistant attorney general, heading the civil division of the U.S. Department of Justice.

Hills currently serves on the international board of JPMorgan Chase and on the advisory board of the Starr Companies. She also serves as chair emeritus of the Inter-American Dialogue, member of the board of trustees of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, chair of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations, honorary member of the board of directors of the Peterson Institute for International Economics, member of the executive committee of the Trilateral Commission, honorary director of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, and the President’s Council on International Activities at Yale University. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Aztec Eagle, the highest honor given by the Mexican government to a non-citizen.

Hills received her BA from Stanford University and her law degree from Yale Law School.
