Support CFR

The Council on Foreign Relations relies on charitable contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations to support its programs and provide important operating revenue. CFR also receives grant support from foundations and other outside sources for specially funded activities. CFR receives no U.S. or foreign government funding.

Corporate Program

CFR’s Corporate Program provides a unique forum for private sector leaders to interact with decision-makers from government, media, non-governmental organizations, and academia to discuss issues at the intersection of business and foreign policy.

Legacy Society

Today’s Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) continues to build on the vision and effort of its founders. During these times of renewed great power rivalry, growing global challenges, and increased division in our society and politics, the Council’s role as an independent, nonpartisan membership organization, think tank, and publisher is more important than ever.

Foreign Affairs

Published by the Council on Foreign Relations since 1922, just a year after the organization’s founding, Foreign Affairs has long been America’s leading forum for serious discussion of foreign policy and international affairs.
